India has been the home of many systems for the preservation of good health. Health is maintained by purity, holiness, through the aura, of the soul mind and the body. This is indicative that the ancients in their wisdom considered the human being as a whole-soul, mind, aura, body and treated the whole person, to bring the entire being into harmony with the cosmic vibrations. This is termed as "Holistic Health" approach to healing by alternative medicine.
